...and

you are?

Hi! My name is Hani!

I'm a 3rd-year architecture student at the Manchester School of Architecture and this is a portfolio of the work undertaken in my projects at the MSA.

When I'm not working away on architecture, I like to swim, run and read. But I always manage to find time to ride my bike! Being a cyclist and having cycled around different cities throughout my travels, I feel like my experiences have certainly bled through into my way of thinking about public realm and transport.

Personally, I am interested the most by the intersections between architecture, social policy and economics, on both micro and macro scales. Because of this, I believe that architecture is about more than good structural and aesthetic form. Good design does not just stop at the built form but also addresses the social implications and the ways in which behaviours respond to the built environment.

In the future, I would like to work in the humanitarian sector, working mainly in what are considered developing states and nations. I would like to apply my architectural education and skills to help improve the lives of people who are likely to be hit the first, hardest and worst by the effects of climate change.
